Our Floral Christmas Wreath is super easy to DIY and perfect for the front door and the Christmas table. Add a candle in a vase to the centre, or even a cake stand for a beautiful centrepiece at Christmas lunch!
Floral Christmas Wreath
Prepare to create your Floral Christmas Wreath by removing all the silk flowers from their stems. Some flowers will simply pull off the top of the stem, others will be attached to a long wire and need to be cut with wire cutters. We used silk flowers that included small spray roses, poppies, David Austin roses, phalenopsis orchids, berries, and gold sequin pears. If you can’t find a plain Christmas wreath, you can remove decorations from a pre-decorated one.
Carefully use hot glue to place your flowers into your wreath. If you’re using a feature, like our golden pears, add it first. Then add the flowers around your wreath.
If you’re not confident about your design, place all the flowers into your wreath first, then go back and glue them when you’re happy with the placement.
This project can get a little expensive, opt to use a small wreath and pick artificial flowers that have more than one bloom on a stem. Most discount stores will sell artificial flowers, use these for the bulk of your wreath and pick a few better quality blooms as a feature.
