DIY Book Page Paper Chandelier

From Issue Four of Sweet Magazine this super fun DIY Book Page Paper Chandelier is a great idea for decorating a party. DIY Book Page Paper Chandelier

You’ll need

1 old wire coathanger
Pliers
Scissors
String
Old book pages*
Double sided tape
Floral tape*
Foliage or flowers*


Sweet Magazine - DIY Book Page Chandelier Tutorial

Using your pliers, twist open the coat hanger and carefully shape into a hoop. Secure the ends by twisting around each other.

Cut three lengths of string to your desired length and tie evenly around your hoop. Tie the tree loose ends together.

Add a length of double sided tape around the inside of your hoop, and stick the book pages to the outside. Continue all the way around your hoop.

*If you can’t bring yourself to take pages from a book. Photocopy or source old book pages online, print them out and age by brushing with a little brewed tea. Don’t let your pages get too wet or the ink from the printer will run.

*Use floral tape to add foliage or flowers to your chandelier.
