Sweet Magazine Issue Three – Kitchen Teapot Cake Tutorial

Wedding have all kinds of parties and ceremonies leading to the big day (more cake!) and one that we particularly love is the Kitchen Tea. Traditionally, a kitchen tea prepared the bride to be for the duties of hosting parties as a wife. These days it’s a fun alternative to a Hen’s Night that can safely include Mum and Nanna! We love that tea pot cakes star at these events, and asked Natalie from Sweetness and Bite to create a Kitchen Tea Teapot Cake Tutorial exclusively for Issue Three.

With 70 step-by-step images overĀ ten pages of instructions, you’ll learn how to stack, fill, carve, ganache and cover an odd shape, create a fondant ruffle ‘lid’, apply silver leaf, and create some beautiful and etherial wafer paper flowers.
