Cookie Jar – Edible Gift Ideas!
You’ll need a 1L capacity jar and…
110g plain flour
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 tsp bicarbb soda
150g brown sugar
65g coconut flakes
100g dried cranberries
125g white chocolate chips
Sift flour, baking powder and bicarb soda together.
In a 1L capacity jar, layer flour, sugar, coconut flakes, dried cranberries, and white chocolate chips.
Seal the jar and tie on a tag with the following baking instructions:
Pre-heat oven to 160*C and line two baking trays with paper.
Tip contents of jar into a large mixing bowl, and add 125g butter (melted), 1 egg, and 1 tsp vanilla extract. Stir with a wooden spoon until well combined.
Take tablespoons of mixture and roll into balls. Place them 5cm apart on the prepared trays and bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown around the edges.
Allow to cool on a wire rack.
